Another Restoration in the Books! – 1972 Mille Miglia Red Convertible corvette

Spring is off to a great start at Hobby Car Corvettes!  The snow is melting and we’ve just finished up our second restoration for 2015.  Our first completed restoration was of “Frankenstein,” a 1973 Pro-Street Corvette.  This one was a 1972 Mille Miglia Red Convertible with a rather interesting backstory.

To make this Vette the beauty that it is today, we completely redid the interior and front suspension, applied a base-coat/clear-coat paint job that turned out gorgeously, went over all mechanical components to replace or tune-up as necessary, and topped it off with a complete detail job.  This Corvette certainly turned out to be a head-turner.  We can’t wait for those pesky rocks and salt from winter to clear off of our roads so we can enjoy some cruising in it!
