I drove it over 2 hours home. It is a lot of fun to drive and cruise around in!
The previous owner spent a bunch of money on this corvette. The engine, transmission, and 3.73 rear end were all redone, along with a bunch of other upgrades over the years he had it. He replaced the 4 ball joints, front shocks, control arm bushings, thermostat and gasket, strut rod bushings, sway bar links, and much more. We changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the front carpet set.
GM only produced 16,633 convertibles out of 38,762 total production in 1969.
