This big block consists of a 1972 402 TLM big block, 1971 open chamber oval port heads, 1966 Holley 427 high rise intake, 750 Holley double pump carburetor, 3/4 cam, and much more. This setup makes for great low end torque!
We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis.
This corvette has had a lot of money spent on it over the years with fiberglass front bumper, door panels, carpet set, clutch, brakes, headers, dual exhaust, high performance turbo mufflers, 750 Double Pump Holley carb, converted to Mallory ignition, tachometer cable, big block radiator, front springs, upper and lower control arm bushings, tie rod ends, tongue bushing, idler arm, and much more.
The last three owners owned it for over 26 combined years. This corvette is a blast to drive. The big block puts out loads of low end torque, which is great for pulling away from stop lights!
1974 was the first year for rubber bumpers front and rear. GM released only 8,862 corvettes that year with a 4 speed transmission.
