We changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the left front brake caliper and alternator. The previous owner replaced the exhaust, power steering pump, power steering control valve, power steering hoses, power steering ram, and much more.
This corvette is a lot of fun to drive with the L82 engine and 4spd transmission. It also sounds great with the dual exhaust.
1979 was the highest production year for the C3 generation of the corvette. GM produced 14,516 with the L82 engine option and 12,353 manual transmissions out of 53,807 total production.
