1979 Red Corvette 4spd Hot Rod

Built 355 engine, 5,411 miles on dash (title is exempt for mileage), four speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, alloy wheels, crank windows, AM/FM/MP3/Bluetooth radio, dual exhaust, Edelbrock chrome aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and much more.

I drove this vette over 2 hours home and the last owner drove it about an hour to meet me with it. Runs and drives really strong. 

We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar links, leaf spring rubbers, front shocks, master cylinder, and much more. 

The last owners spent a lot of money on upgrades to this corvette. The current engine is a 355/400Hp Approximately built .30 over 9:00.1 compression with steel Corvette crank, Forged pistons, World SR Cast Iron Heads ported and polished, Forged connecting rods, heat treated push rods and push rod guides, Comp Cams top end kit with cam, lifters, valve springs, timing chain set, roller rockers, Edelbrock chrome aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, Accel distributor, GM HP clutch kit, steel harmonic balancer, Hedman long tube headers, 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust, Dynomax mufflers, and much more done to the engine. They also replaced the seat covers and foam and full carpet set. Complete paint job and much more done during the restoration. 

In 1979, GM produced 53,807 corvettes. Out of those, GM only released 12,353 with the 4spd transmission.
