We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, sway bar links, master cylinder, e brake cable, fuel pump hoses, motor mount, speedometer cable, and much more.
This corvette is a lot of fun to drive with the L82 engine and 4spd transmission. It also sounds great with the chambered exhaust.
1979 was the highest production year for the C3 generation of the corvette. GM produced 14,516 with the L82 engine option and 12,353 manual transmissions out of 53,807 total production.
