Numbers matching, L81/350, 18,553 miles on the dash (title is exempt for mileage), 4spd manual transmission, dark red leather interior, power steering, power brakes, A/C, power windows, power driver side seat, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, alloy wheels, tilt and telescopic steering column, glass T-tops, Gymkhana suspension, original valve covers, original air cleaner assembly, original ignition shielding, and much more.
We changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the 4 brake calipers, 4 sets of brake pads, 4 brake hoses, idler arm, tongue bushing, trailing arm bushings, leaf spring rubbers, rear shocks, spark plugs, seat covers, carpet set, and much more.
This corvette came out of southern VA.
GM produced 40,606 corvettes in 1981 with only 1,618 being released in Maroon Metallic. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant.
