We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the right front brake caliper, right rear brake caliper, selector seal, tongue bushing, water pump, radiator, radiator hoses, harmonic balancer, complete carpet, belts, and much more.
This corvette runs and drive nice. Will be a lot of fun for someone to play around with.
1981 was the last year for a carburetor on the corvette. It was also the first year for a computer in a corvette. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant. GM only produced 6,387 White corvettes out of 40,606 total production in 1981.
