This corvette has been garage kept and well cared for by the last owner and my mechanic since he purchased it in 1988. Our dealership also did odds and ends to it over the years for the last owner. It runs and drives really nice. It is also still mostly original paint and completely original interior.
We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the right front brake caliper, selector seal, left lower control arm bushing, left lower ball joint, sway bar links, alternator, fan clutch, motor mount, and much more.
The end of an era.. The 1982 corvette brought a close to the C3 generation of the corvette, and was the first year all corvettes were produced in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as they are to this day. GM built 1,667 two tone silver blue and dark blue in 1982, out of 25,407 total production that year.
