How did you spend your Valentine’s Day? My wife and I spent it in Virginia and West Virginia finding some Corvettes to buy. Fortunately, this is one of our favorite ways to spend time together (really). Unfortunately, we ran into some nasty weather, including a complete whiteout in West Virginia and a section of interstate in Maryland that was solid ice. We made it safely to a friend’s house where we passed some time until the roads were clear again. It pays to have friends in various states! It was certainly a Valentine’s Day we won’t forget!

This red 1981 was much shinier when we loaded it on our trailer in Virginia! It’s now nice and shiny again and tucked inside one of our nice, warm buildings.

1973 Pro Street Corvette
Some of you might have seen it sitting on my lot most of the summer or saw some of the pictures of it on my website. This one appeared to be in pretty rough shape after going through a hurricane while the last owner owned it. The windshield was busted and a lot of body and interior work was also required. I figured someone would love to take on the project because the hard part was done. after getting the rear tubed, roll bar, and fuel cell installed. Well, in late fall my painter was in need of some work so I gave him this one to play around with. A few weeks later, it turned out amazing! With the paint looking great, the rest of it had to match, so we installed new leather seats, new deluxe door panels, new front carpet, detailed the under hood and polished the wheels. Now it’s ready for some cruising and car shows!
