Hello All,
A lot of you probably remember when I wrote about finding and bringing home our 1970 Baldwin Motion LT1. Well, after we were lucky enough to come upon this extremely rare vette, we realized that its extensive documentation included the contact information for its original owner. We took a chance and gave him a call. The original owner, Tom, was thrilled to hear that “Mr. Motion” still has a good home and wanted to drive over from Ohio to see the car for the first time since he sold it in 1980. He brought his sons Scott and Craig, and told us the story of how he ordered the car directly from Joel Rosen at Motion Performance immediately after he arrived home from serving during Vietnam, and later flew out to pick it up. We had a lot of fun with Tom and his sons on Saturday. Scroll down to check out the picture we recreated from the picture in 1970 just after he bought the car.
