Hello All,
Every car nut dreams about happening upon that ultra-rare “barn find”. This past week started out like any other with getting the sold Vettes ready for shipment and pickup, and getting the new arrivals sorted through, detailed, and listed, along with answering emails and phone calls. On Tuesday we got an email from a gentlemen asking if we would be interested in looking at and potentially buying his 1971 Red LT-1 Corvette that he has owned since the mid 90’s. After spending the next few days verfiying the history and documentation of the vette, we set up a time to see the Vette in person. After moving childrens toys and cardboard boxes out of the way, along with all the spiderwebs, we were able to verify the condition and originality of the car. The LT-1 originally came out of the Carolinas so it’s pretty solid. but after sitting outside for a few years and out of use for most of the 2000’s, it will be getting a full restoration.
It’s been awhile since we have had the time or opportunity to do a full restoration, let alone on a car like this, so we are more than excited! Look for restoration pictures as we bring this rare red LT-1 back to life!
