I hope your new year is off to a great start! Ours has been very busy. We have spent a lot of time traveling to find some great Vettes to add to our inventory.
We started first-thing with our annual holiday trip to Virginia. Each year, we travel to Virginia to visit family and scout some Vettes in the process. This year’s trip was very productive. We found seven new (okay- new to us!) Corvettes to bring home to Hobby Cars.
We always have lots of fun together and with family on this trip. This time, we decided to visit Monticello, the historic home of U.S. president Thomas Jefferson. We had both been to Monticello as children, but could not really remember it, so we really enjoyed discovering it again. The architecture and ingenuity of the home are amazing, and the history behind it is just as fascinating. We’re already looking forward to going back in the spring or summer when we can explore the grounds more extensively. If you love learning about American history, or if you just appreciate unique architecture, you need to add Monticello to your list of places to check out!
Since our big new year’s trip, we haven’t stopped searching for new inventory. We’ve made several smaller trips to bring home an additional 7 cars. That just might be a new record for January. Hopefully we can keep it going and build a nice selection for you this spring.
