It’s been a busy summer at Hobby Cars! So busy, in fact, that we sort of forgot about our June newsletter… oops! If we HAD done a June newsletter, we would have been telling you all about our trip to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and to Nashville, Tennessee. We picked up a red 1981 4 speed Vette along the way. You can see pictures from our trip on our latest blog.
We are also excited to tell you about our visit from WTAJ News earlier this month. Our local news station discovered our business and asked if they could do a story about us. 1971 Green Corvette T Top This 1971 Turquoise Big Block Stingray is one powerful C3 corvette! In 1971, GM produced 5,097 Vettes with 454/365 hp, and few of those also included 4spd transmission and A/C. This Stingray Corvette seems to run well and will be a fun project for someone to tinker around with. The headlights, wipers, and tac work on this classic Corvette. Hobby Car has recently done some work on this Big Block, with installations including: 4 calipers, brake pads, brake hoses, 4 rotors, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, fuel pump, carb rebuilt, oil and filter changed, alternator, master cylinder, U joint, trailing arm bushing, rear E-brake cable, spark plugs, and much more. |
