HI EVERYONE!
While we always have fun on the road looking for new inventory, finding quality Vettes seems to be getting more and more difficult as the years go by. It is especially hard to find low-mileage Corvettes that have not been sitting in a field or barn rotting for the last few decades. A couple of weeks ago though, we hit the jackpot. Well, that’s how it felt, anyway! We found not one, but two low mileage Vettes less than two hours from home. The second Vette was a surprise- I didn’t know the owner had a second Corvette (34K miles) for sale until I showed up to look at the first one (17K miles!!). Needless to say, we came home with both! Now if we could only have a few more successful weeks of Corvette picking!

1968 Red Convertible Corvette For Sale $22,999 350, 4 speed manual transmission, 75,600 original miles, black interior, rally wheels, black convertible top, AM/FM/CD player, dual exhaust, power steering, wooden steering wheel, Hurst shifter, Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, headers, and much more. We drove this Corvette 3 hours home. It runs and drives strong with plenty of power. We replaced the 2 outer tie rod ends, idler arm, left upper control arm bushings, left upper ball joints, and spark plug wires. We also changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. 1968 was the first year for the C3 body style, which also brought about a new interior design along with removable t tops. GM also introduced the pop-up headlights and pop-up wiper door. 1968 was the highest production year for the stingray convertible with 18,630 total production. |
