We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the selector seal, upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, tie rod end, leaf spring rubbers, fan clutch, fuel pump hoses, and much more.
This corvette runs and drives nice.
GM produced 47,000 Corvettes in the 1978 (25th anniversary) model year. Out of the 47,000 produced, only 4,150 were produced in white, 12,590 with Gymkhana suspension, and only 4,607 with red interior.
