We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar links, front brake calipers, front brake pads, front and rear brake hoses, front shocks, tongue bushing, and much more.
We bought this corvette in NC. The last owner took really good care of it while he owned it.
1981 was the last year for a carburetor on the corvette. It was also the first year for a computer in a corvette. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant.
