We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the idler arm, sway bar links, lower ball joints, power steering hoses, thermostat and gasket, seat covers and seat foam, and much more.
This corvette is a really nice car to drive and enjoy.
GM produced 40,606 corvettes in 1981 with only 5,757 4 speeds. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant.
